While I'm not the most creative person that I know, I do have an eye for detail, great knowledge of the "User Experience" and a strong sense of dedication and pride for the work that I do, I guess this is what makes me a great web developer. I have been in the industry for professionally since 1998 and heavely involved in the Internet since 1994.
I currently work for Harland Financial Solutions as one of their Professional Services Web Developers. What this essentially means is that I work on the client side after initial design and testing has been completed. I am also working with the web developers that handle with the Internet Banking side of the business. I began working at Harland FS on September 1, 2007. Prior to HFS I was working for a WAP Design firm called 5280 Mobile, Inc. While it was really nice to get to know the mobile web industry, I felt the position was not a great fit for my skill set since everything was built from a 3rd party application, and no real code was involved. If you know me well enough then you know I can not survive in a situation like that. In addition to my skills not being utilized I was tiring of the commute to the Downtown Denver area everyday. Prior to 5280, I was employeed at Merkle Interactive (was Merkle|Quris, was Quris Inc.)
First and foremost I am a father and a husband. I have two beautiful children and a loving wife that take up the vast majority of what free time I do have outside of work. I enjoy rock climbing, motorcycles, PC games , freelance web design/development and Email Marketing. Having a job doing what you love to do is a blessing.
